My buddy Tyler called me this past winter, announcing he was engaged! After the congratulations were offered and I got the full scoop on Maria, his bride-to-be, he asked if I would shoot their wedding this spring. Of course I said yes! But before we even get to the wedding day fun, I was able to shoot an engagement session with them this past weekend.
Shooting in Rochester, MI, we went to a few of Tyler and Maria's favorite spots - a local sandwich shop, a downtown bakery, a quiet walkway alongside the rolling Clinton River - and were able to get some great shots! Of course, the highlight of the day though was just being able to hang out with these two incredible people, and get to know Maria. She's so much fun, full of life and spirit, and perfect for Tyler.
We're using images from the engagement session to create a custom guest book for wedding guests to sign and share their well-wishes. I may post some shots of the guest book once it's finished. Digging into this project first thing tomorrow morning. In the meantime, enjoy a few samples from the shoot!

LOVE 'em! (and the pics)
